JUNIOR
Contested by Junior Bikes A, B classes. Run on Chicago Shootout Format DYO over the 1/8 Mile, as per IHRA Regulations.
MOD BIKE
Contested by motorcycles 11.99 ET and faster. Run on Chicago Shootout Format DYO over the 1/4 Mile. IHRA Group 3 Unlimited Licence required for motorcycles running faster than 9.00 ET. IHRA tech inspection required—refer to the IHRA rulebook for full details.
HISTORIC Bikes must be pre-1994.
If modified in dimensions (e.g. extended swingarm), the bike must be IHRA teched in accordance with regulations.
SPORTSTER
Open to Sportster models only. Modifications require tech inspection as per IHRA rules. Dial Your Own (DYO), 1/4 Mile.
LAMS
Bike must be LAMS-approved. Rider must be a LAMS rider. DYO, 1/4 Mile.
STREET
Contested by motorcycles 9.50 ET and slower. Run on Chicago Shootout Format DYO over the 1/4 Mile. Must retain original fairings and chassis. Chassis dimensions must be standard (stock wheelbase). Lowering is permitted; engine modifications (e.g. turbo, nitrous) allowed.
BAGGERS
Motorcycle must come with bags or be a model that supports them. Bags must be fitted to compete. DYO, 1/4 Mile.
VTWINS
Open to all Twin & Triple motorcycles 9.50 ET and slower. Run on Chicago Shootout Format DYO over the 1/4 Mile. Extended swingarm bikes must have IHRA tech and logbook.
