DRAG THE FARMERS OUT OF DROUGHT! 26th June 2021

2 Envious Car Club has teamed up with  Mackay Lions host club to host a charity event ” Drag the Farmers Out of Drought”
This will be a family friendly charity event with local car club displays, local business displays, raffle prizes and much more.

We will have prizes and trophies for the show n shine, dyno and drags. Who knows you may even get to race one of our admins down the strip!

Cost  for the cruise will be a $ note donation.
This will include free gate entry at the dragway.

If you wish to meet us at the dragway you will be charged $20 gate entry, unless you have gotten online and pre entered to race!.

Entry for the show n shine will be $10

All money raised goes to the lions club and 100% of donations will be distributed to our local farmers doing it hard.

General Information:

  • The racing format will be three round Chicago Shootout. Then a final.
  • Seeding will be done on best reaction time in all 3 rounds of qualifiying.
  • Class rules and safety requirements will be as per the current IHRA rule book. (download at www.ihra.com.au)
  • Camping is available on site for racers and crew only
  • BBQ For racers and crew at Trophy presentation Saturday night.
  • 2022 BRACKET Champs will be announced at the trophy presentations!

ANDRA have introduced the Single event licence for 2018 as a trial, this option will only be available for specific events, more info can be found here.

  • Full ANDRA Membership – attached

  • Vehicle Log Book form – attached

  • ANDRA technical inspection form

  • Copy of IHRA licence

  • Copy of IHRA medical (or notation on IHRA licence that states ‘phys expiry’)

  • Additional ANDRA medical form – attached

  • Head and shoulders photo of yourself  (on a camera phone is perfect)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES!

  1. All persons must stop at the gate on arrival, our officials can check you in and issue entrant packs or for buddy/crew or 3 day pass holders (purchased online) will be issued with an Armband at the gate, this armband is to stay on for the entire weekend, if you are found on site with out an arm band you will be asked to leave, if your band breaks, please bring the broken one to an official for verification and we will resissue.
  2. Online Ticket sales will close Thursday at 5.00pm prior to the event. Individual day tickets only will be sold at the gate
  3. Number of crew in each pit area is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure social distancing guidelines current at the time of the event are followed
  4. To limit numbers in spectators areas Competitors/crew are asked to please return to your pit area once your run/pass has been completed.
  5. Abuse of officials and volunteers will not be tolerated.
  6. Entries will be available on a first in basis. Once our limit is met, we will not accept any more entries. If at the close of entries, we do not have enough to make the class/event viable we will cancel it and refund the entries received for that date only.
  7. If a class does not receive the minimum amount of numbers it may not be run or maybe combined with another class.
  8. Buddy/Crew & 3 day online tickets will not be credited for any reason unless Palmyra Drag Racing club or the Promoter cancels the event or the entrant has a valid medical reason and Palmyra Drag racing club are notified via email prior to the event: web@palmyradragway.com.au
  9. Entry to the facility is as per the schedule when the venue entrant gates is manned.
  10. Camping onsite is for entrants and crew only, social distancing requirements must be maintained, this is the responsibility of the entrant in his/her own pit areas.
  11. NO BYO, NO GLASS & NO ALCOHOL IN PIT AREA!  If you are found with open tin of alcohol in the pit area during the event your armband will be removed and you will be asked to leave the facility.
  12.  Passenger passes for burnouts will be allowed – one per car and passenger must be 18 or over. these will be for sale on the day at $20.00 (cash only) for the entire weekend.

PDRC XMAS Feature

Join us to celebrate another year of great events and lots of hard work!
This is 5 hours of open track test & tune, race your mates, test your new build and just have some fun!
We will also have some prizes for those who want to join us in a DYO Challenge.
You will nominate a Dial in after the first hour of testing, you then line up and race who ever, whenever and at the end of the night bring your best timecard in to be submitted and we will then work out who got the closest and award some fun prizes!
Passenger bands will be available for this event! you can purchase them on the day!
You choose if you wish to stay and have dinner with us, tickets have to be pre-purchased, either as a racer or as an extra we will have the team from The Golden Roast onsite, with a yummy buffet with meat, veges and salad!
